As a child, Dr. Beth Nasal was forever bringing home stray animals and doing her best to nurse them back to health. While she wasn’t able to save them all, she gave it everything she had and in the process, ultimately discovered her true passion. This desire to help animals, coupled with a fascination with science, math and medicine, naturally led her to a career in the veterinary field.
Growing up, Delaney’s family always had dogs. American Eskimos and Beagles were their two preferred breeds. It wasn’t until she reached adulthood and adopted her own dog, however, that Delaney decided to pursue a career working with animals. When her husky mix, Opiuo, experienced a medical scare, Delaney became obsessed with the veterinary world – a world that she is thrilled to finally be a part of!
After spending years working in the customer service field, Meg decided that she wanted to find a job where she felt she made a difference. She had always had a passion for animals, so she decided to pursue a job where she got to spend her time helping furry critters. Today Meg is a veterinary assistant at Happy Tails Veterinary Clinic, and she’s happy for the chance to learn about and work with animals!
Growing up with intense agoraphobia and anxiety, Ava found comfort and safety with her cats. This sparked a desire to work in the animal field. When her beloved dog, Dexter, crossed the Rainbow Bridge, the family brought him to Happy Tails for cremation. The staff was so compassionate and patient, Ava knew she would one day serve and support other pet parents. Her dream came true in August of 2023!
If you ever see a stray dog running around the area, chances are you’ll also see Laura close behind trying to catch them so she can bring them to the humane society. Truth be told, her heart has always been for animals, so a career as a veterinary assistant seemed like a natural path to take. Anyone who encounters Laura knows how important keeping pets happy and healthy truly is to her!
